About Us

Here at Tom Thompson Reptiles my wife, Linda, and I have taken pride in breeding high

quality captive born and bred reptiles. During our 20+ years of breeding we have made a

respectable reputation within the reptile community.

As a youngster, I began catching and keeping native species collected in the backyard

and surrounding woods.I would keep them and release them back to where they were

collected at the end of each summer. I lost interest during my teenage years.

When our middle daughter saw a Haitian Boa at a local pet store, the interest was renewed.

All of our daughters had their own small collection that they took care of. Erica the eldest

loved her yellow anaconda ( Annie) that bit everybody except her.

In 1985 we began breeding colubrids, mostly cornsnake morphs, kingsnakes, milksnakes,

and western hognoses.We slowly progressed into boas and pythons.We sold mostly at local

shows in western PA and Millersport Ohio( now the Columbus show).

Today we still attend the local shows and occasionally attend the Columbus or Hamburg shows.

Our daughters will usually help Linda at the shows when I can't attend. They take alot of pride

providing information on how to care for the specimens to all who ask. They have many people

sent to them from other vendors for advice.

We have been selling more animals each year from the forums that we are members of.

This website is a result of that, making access to pictures of our collection, availabilty, and

other pertinent information. We currently have customers from all over the US. Many are repeat

customers.

We are currently working with some new and exciting morphs of various species.
